Yes, the B.Sc in Nursing eligibility criteria differ for the reserved category candidates at Chitkara School of Health Sciences. 

General category students need to score a minimum of 45% to 50% aggregate marks in their 10+2 examinations while reserved categories such as (SC, ST and BC) have 5% relaxation i.e., 40% aggregate in 10+2.

Candidates applying to MSc Nursing programme have to pass in BSc Nursing/ BSc Honours in Nursing/ Post Basic BSc in Nursing/ Post Certificate BSc Nursing or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks. Candidates should have been registered in State Nursing Council as registered Nurse and Registered Midwife and must have a minimum of one year working experience (only for BSc Nursing candidates).

No, English is a mandatory subject and is mentioned in the eligibility criteria to appear for the JKBOPEE BSc Nursing CET entrance. The applicant must opt for this subject in HSC, if they wish to appear for the exam.

To seek admission to the JCECE nursing post basic program, a candidate must have:

  • Passed class 12 Senior Secondary or Intermediate or an equivalent examination on a recognised board. Applicants who have passed class 11 in or before 1987, will be eligible for admission.
  • Possess a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and should be a Registered Nurse Registered Midwife (RNRM) with the State Nursing Council.

Check out eligibility to apply for a BSc in Nursing in Malta:

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have completed Class 12 with Biology and Chemistry
  • Minimum 60% in 12th class.
  • You also need a valid English proficiency score. An IELTS of 6.0 overall.

Other than this, university may ask you for other eligibility. Check official website.
