Q. Who can do the GNM course?
A. Candidates who desire to work in medicine have access to GNM. Candidates must engage in this course if they want to work as nurses, midwives, or assistants in society. If candidates have compassion for assisting people and want to work with medical professionals to treat them, they can join the GNM Nursing programme.
Candidates must also have completed their Class 12 in English and have obtained a minimum combined score of 40% in both the qualifying test and English separately from any recognised board. Candidates accepted by the National Institute of Open Schools (NIOS), approved by the Central Government, and State Open Schools recognised by the State Government are also eligible.
Q. What are the benefits of the GNM course?
A. Since there is a chronic shortage of skilled nurses, it is projected that demand will rise significantly during the following several years. So, obtaining a nursing degree from a respected nursing college could result in exciting employment options.
- In the Nursing industry, the candidate's ability to progress professionally is unrestricted. In other words, a nurse's pay is based on the quality of the medical care they provide.
- Being a nurse is one of the professions with the most freedom.
- Nurses can earn respectable annual salary packages. It's a profession that provides a significant return on investment.
- There is a strong demand for nurses to care for individuals who are ill or injured across the country, from urban to rural locations. As a result, candidates can choose where they want to work as a nurse.
