Yes, it is necessary to appear and clear NCLEX - RN exam to become a forensic nurse. Generally, nurses must have their RN license and a minimum of two years of experience as an RN, and pass an exam and/or specialised education programme to earn a forensic nursing certificate.

The entrance exam will be held in the second week of August 2019.

1. The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
2. The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of B.Sc Nursing /Bsc Hons Nursing/Post Basic B.sc Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
