Obstetrics and Gynaecology or OB/GYN Nursing are two closely related specializations dedicated to women's reproductive health. While Obstetrics deals with pre to post-pregnancy, Gynaecology is dedicated to women's reproductive health and well-being beyond pregnancy.

Students of class 12th in PCM group are not normally qualified for B.Sc Nursing. Generally the admission requirements to enroll for B.Sc Nursing are candidates are expected to have passed the 10+2 with PCB –Physics, Chemistry, and Biology – with an average of between 45% to 50%. No, the State cell Maharashtra does not release any official notification for MH BSc Nursing exam preparation. As per the information brochure, the expected questions in the nursing entrance exam will be based on Std.XII Syllabus of State Board of Maharashtra for Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English.
