The KGMU BSc Nursing entrance exam is conducted as part of the UP CNET (Uttar Pradesh Common Nursing Entrance Test). The UP CNET exam was held on May 21, 2025. While the KGMU itself doesn't conduct a separate exam, candidates who want to enroll in the BSc Nursing course at KGMU need to appear for the UP CNET. Regarding eligibility, males are not explicitly excluded from the BSc Nursing course at KGMU, and the UP CNET exam doesn't have any gender restrictions.

BSc in Nursing at Chettinad Academy of Research and Education (CARE) is a full-time programme. The course duration is four years. This includes a compulsory internship of six months during the last year. In addition to the core subjects, the programme includes Value Added Courses and Langauge subjects. Chettinad Academy of Research and Education (CARE) has a total of 100 seats for the BSc in Nursing programme. These seats are offered through the Chettinad College of Nursing. The (deemed-to-be) university allocates these seats to candidates who fulfil the preset eligibility criteria and have valid scores in the qualifying exam and the entrance exam. The difference between a Psychiatric Nurse and a Psychiatrist is that the Psychiatrist is a Medical Doctor who has completed a specialised degree in MD or DO, meanwhile the Psychiatric Nurse has studied the specialised Nursing field of psychiatry. Thanks!
