There's no limitation to pursuing BSc Nursing alone; however, pursuing an MSc or specialisation programme will help you get advanced knowledge, specialised skills, and higher job roles. If you want to get leadership or management roles, a higher salary, career growth, etc., pursuing a master's course will help you do it.

To become a Registered Nurse, it is mandatory to pursue a recognised program. You can choose from either a GNM, ANM, BSc in Nursing, or a Post Basic BSc Nursing course. It will not only help you get the right knowledge and skills in the field, but also make you eligible to practice in a healthcare facility.

Critical Care Unit Nurses, ICU Nurses and OT Nurses get highest salary packages due to specialised knowledge and responsibility factors.
But salary packages for Nurses also depend on their company, location, experience and also job position.
For example - a Mid level Nurse from top hospitals like AIIMS or Medanta will get a higher salary package.
