As per the NIRF 2025 rankings, AIIMS Rishikesh has been ranked #13 under the 'Medical' category. Some other updates are given below:
- The INI CET July 2026 result has been declared for admission to the MD/ MS/ MDS/ DM/ MCh courses.
- The NEET MDS 2026 result has been declared for admission to the MDS course. Students can go to the official website to check the same.
- The AIIMS BSc (Hons) Nursing 2026 application portal is now inactive for the BSc (Hons) Nursing course. The exam is going to be conducted on June 27, 2026.
- The AIIMS MSc Nursing 2026 application window is now closed for admission to the MSc course. Further, the exam is going to be held on Jun 20, 2026.
- The NEET UG 2026 re-exam will be conducted on Jun 21, 2026 for admission to the MBBS, BDS, and other courses.
- The deadline to register for admission to the BSc and BMLT programmes via AIIMS BSc Paramedical 2026 has now passed. The exam will be held on Jul 4, 2026.

Yes, it is hard to get admission in AIIMS Rishikesh. The institute is one of the top ranked medical institutes of the country. With the AIIIMS tag and high cutoffs, the admission chances are very competitive. But any student preparing well has a chance of getting a seat in the institute.
