No, in India, it is not possible to study the LLB course online. The Bar Council of India, which regulates the education and practice programme of LLB, doesn't allow students to practice Law in online mode. Students can do a diploma or study legal topics course online. But, they cannot become a lawyer or advocate through a fully online LLB in India.

At present, LL.B. Distance education is not valid in India. The Bar Council of India (BCI) still does not recognize the LL.B. Degree through ODL mode. Therefore, candidates who pursue LL.B. Degrees in distance learning mode won't be endorsed as legitimate lawyers. Good luck.

Due to the ongoing Covid restrictions and UGC guidelines, All Universities and Colleges are providing online classes and study material to their regular students. This is only an health measure for sometime taken by all colleges as per UGC instructions. This means not that students are doing the LL.B. Online. Doing LL.B. Through distance/ online is not valid for practicing as lawyer as per BCI instructions. So avoid to do this. Please take regular admission if wants to do LL.B.
