It depends on the course in which the student is interested. Oriental College of Technology, Bhopal, offers BTech, MTech, MBA, and MCA courses. Admission to the BTech, MBA/ MTech courses at the college can be considered difficult as it is done based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main, and MPPET exams respectively. Admission to the MCA course can be considered less difficult as it is done based on the scores obtained in the previous qualification.

For B.Tech (UG), registration is ongoing through MP state counselling (JEE Main-based), with choice filling and seat allotment happening between late June and early August.
