It can therefore be said that placements at Pailan College of Management and Technology (PCMT) have been below average, but there are indeed many companies which visit the college for placements. Significantly, TCS and ITC are some of the major companies recruiting freshers which pay their applicants about INR 3-4 Lacs per annum. However, there are reports of limited IT company placements for some of the students even though the college has many recruitment companies; branches like IT get few placements; some of the students get paid INR 20,000 per annum similarly. Pailan College of Management and Technology (PCMT) offers B.E. / B.Tech courses for about INR 2,30,000 to INR 2,40,000 per annum for a total of four years of service. This fee may be slightly different at this branch and other branches of the university as well as any other charges or scholarships that may apply.

Here are the latest information available on admissions at Pailan College of Management and Technology by the WBJEE exam:

The WBJEE 2025 result date is tentatively scheduled for June 6, 2025. 

  • The WBJEE 2025 registrations are open now for the BTech and BPharm courses, and the deadline is Feb 23, 2025. Further, the date of the WBJEE 2025 exam is scheduled for Apr 27, 2025.

B.E. courses are not offered by Pailan College of Management and Technology (PCMT) but still offering B.Tech. in various engineering programs. Here's how you can get admission for B.Tech. at PCMT:

Eligibility:

You must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and English from a recognised board.

Minimum marks in various programs vary. Normally, most take around 45%.

Admission to B.Tech in PCMT is generally based on your rank in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE).

There are criteria for eligibility for each scholarship offered.  Do check on the official websites for the specific criteria.

Application: The application procedure may differ according to the type of scholarship. For that, you are advised to get in touch with the college's admission office or visit the scholarship websites for further guidelines.

Pailan College of Management and Technology - PCMT has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

B.E. / B.TechCandidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology from a recognised college with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD) or equivalent CGPA
Or
Candidate must have completed B.Sc. from a recognised college with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD) or equivalent CGPA.
For B.Sc candidate the upper age limit is 27 years as on 31.12.2017 (There is no upper age limit for Diploma holders in Engineering/Technology).
BBACandidate must have completed 10+2 from a recognied baord.
BCACandidate must have completed 10+2 from a recognied baord.
B.Sc.Candidate must have completed 10+2 from a recognied baord.
BHMCandidate must have completed 10+2 from a recognied baord.
BOPTMCandidate must have completed 10+2 from a recognied baord.
