IIMs don't offer part-time MBA. They do offer EMBA. You can only pursue full-time PGDM courses from IIMs. To get admission in IIM, you need to score more than 99 percentile in CAT exam.

If you are doing part-time MBA or Distance MBA then universities are not concerned about placements. You have to search for a job yourself. Regular MBA is a better option if you are not working anywhere.

There are many universities, which offer part time MBA or distance MBA course for those who are unable to do full time MBA course.
1. Indira Gandhi National Open University.
2. Symbiosis University.
3. Sikkim Manipal University.
4. Kota Open University, etc.

You should be a graduate with minimum 2 to 3 years of work experience.
Below mentioned are the decent institutes:
1. JBIMS – Mumbai.
2. NL Dalmia - Mira Road.
3. NMIMS.
4. KJ Somaiya.
5. ADMI.
6. SIES.
7. Parle Tilak Vidya Mandir.
8. Welingkar.
9. Thakur College – Kandivli.
10. Chetna.
These are the institutes, in which you can get admission after a written test and a personal interview. Except for NMIMS, everywhere the course is of 3 years duration. In NMIMS, it is 15 months for executive MBA and 2 years for part time MBA.
