IIT Khargapur JAM cutoff 2025 was released for admission to various PG courses. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. For admission to MSc+PhD in Physics, the cutoff in respect to the General All India category candidates was closed at 280. For the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff for the same course was closed at 686. For SC AI category candidates, the cutoff was closed at 1351.

Admission requirements for a Ph.D in Physics differ in universities. Admissions can be based on entrance exam scores and merit in a Masters. Colleges prefer students with research projects and letters of recommendation. One can apply for his/ her candidature on the official college website.
