For admission to the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program at Annamalai University in 2024, the selection process is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, such as the higher secondary or equivalent. For this year, the cutoff marks for Pharm.D. are determined based on a merit list that includes normalized scores to ensure fairness among various educational boards. The highest cutoff mark for the 2024-2025 academic session was around 90 for the General category, with subsequent ranks requiring slightly lower scores depending on the reservation category (e.g., SC, ST, BC, MBC). Pharm d is a clinical career doctorate programme of 6 year duration.
For getting admission at PSG college, you can try merit based or either entrance based seats. Its said that admission starts after the +2 result are out.
The minimum eligibility for pharm d is you should pass any of the following examinations:
- 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects : Mathematics or Biology
• A pass in D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act
- Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations
