The Doctorate of Pharmacy is a professional degree that lasts six years. The first five years are devoted to theoretical education, followed by a year of internship.
B.Pharm is a four-year full-time degree programme that exposes students to both practical and academic areas of pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution.
If candidates are a student who wants to work as a chemist in large hospitals and Healthcare centres, whether in their home country or abroad, a Pharm. D. programme is for them. After earning their Pharm D, they can pursue a PhD.

As per the cut off details mentioned on the cutoff page of Sultan UI Uloom College of Pharmacy, the cutoff for BPharma and PharmD for the year 2022 was 82126 and 200272, respectively, and for the year 2019 its was 49165 for BPhrama. The latest cutoff information is not available on the website of the college.
Candidates seeking admission to Sultan UI Uloom College of Pharmacy are required to appear for the relevant entrance exam to get shortlisted for admission. The college accepts TS EAMCET and TS PGECET for all the courses offered at college. Apart from aforemention entrance, the college also accepts GPAT for MPharma.

Amrita School of Pharmacy offers PharmD course. To get into PharmD, candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate in Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with Mathematics or Biology / DPharm from a recognised institute. The school selects the candidates on the basis of AEEL score which is conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
