Marketing: The Pharmaceuticals sales and marketing is considered to be a highly technical arena and hence one of the best when it comes to perks. But the drawback is that you will have to waste almost 6 months to 1 year between Masters and Bachelors programs while Pharma. D is a continuous 6-year integrated-graduate programme which is equivalent to M.Pharma in India. However, Pharma. D is purely clinicial oriented and once you get into Pharma. D you cannot move in Cognosy, Chemistry, Pharmaceutics or Analysis unless you do another Masters degree. However, I know people who have opted for Ph.D. in completely different areas abroad after completion of Pharma. D from India. Overall, choosing between B.Pharma and Pharma. D depends on how further you want your academics to proceed. Pharma. D can save 1 year in between Bachelors and Masters for a person who is totally inclined towards clinical pharmacology.

Decent. But if you have the only job on your mind and don't have decent JEE Mains score to get you through any NIT just join pharma at JU. It will still give you better placements than what you get at private colleges under WBJEE.
