For D.Pharm Course It is the diploma in pharmacy. The minimum qualification of 10+2 is required. It must be passed with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology subjects. For admission to this course, candidates must have completed 17 years of the year of admission.
For B.Pharm Course It is the Bachelors degree in pharmacy that can be taken after passing 12th/intermediate examination. For this course, candidates must pass 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as a compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics / Computer Science / Biotechnology / Biology subjects and must obtained 50% marks in qualifying examination. D.Pharma: Eligibility
1) Successful qualification of the 10+2 level of education in any stream, from a recognized educational Board.
2) A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the 10+2 level.

The following are minimum requirements for obtaining a drug license or starting a pharmacy in India:
Area: The minimum area of 10 square meters is required to start a medical shop or pharmacy or wholesale outlet. In case, the pharmacy business combines retail and wholesale, a minimum of 15 square meters is required.
Storage Facility: The store must have refrigerator & air conditioner on the premises. According to the labelling specifications certain drugs like vaccines, Sera, Insulin Injections, etc., are required to be stored in the refrigerator.
