Placements: I belong to the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering 2025–2029 batch. Around 75% to 85% of eligible students get placed through campus drives. The highest package offered is around 26 LPA, the average package is around 4 to 5 LPA, and the lowest package is around 3 LPA. Recruiters include Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, HCL, and many others. Around 60% to 70% of students receive internship opportunities through these companies and startups. Top roles are Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer, Java Developer, Python Developer, Data Analyst, and QA Engineer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the CSE department is good. Classrooms are spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with projectors. The Wi-Fi speed is low. The computer labs are available. Satisfied with the college, really good facilities and made my college life very special.

Placements: Coming to placements, up to 50 percent of students got placed in various technologies. The highest package is up to 9 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Parinsoft, and others. Almost 25 percent of students got their internship in the final year in companies like Datavalley, Smartbridge, and others.

Infrastructure: To be frank, our department supports the students very well. They provide Wi-Fi in classrooms if you want to do any projects. Every section has two labs separately. Classrooms are very large with projector availability also. The library also has an enormous amount of books, which is useful for study, and we have two libraries. I am not a hosteler, but I have tasted the food there about 2 to 3 times, and it is very tasty.

Faculty: Faculty are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Whenever we ask them a doubt, they explain it without any hesitation or frustration. They teach the lessons with real-time experiences. They relate the topics to real-life incidents, which makes it easy for us to understand. The curriculum is relevant and it is industry-ready. The pass percentage is up to 90 percent.

Other: I chose this course because it has a great scope in future for jobs. Events are very cheerful. We celebrate Sankranthi, Dussehra, and other festivals also. We also conduct a fest once a year.

Placements: Every year, around 70-80 percent of students got placed on campus placements. This year, the highest package is 14 LPA, the average package that is offered in this course is 6 LPA. Apart from placements many students got internship offers too. Top roles are GET, L1 Engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are good and the quality of food is satisfactory. The lab facilities are good and the Wi-Fi facilities are excellent. The classrooms are excellent, and the ventilation is good. The college infrastructure is excellent.

Faculty: The teachers are very good and talented. The semester exams are difficult, but in terms of pass percentage, everyone performs well, and the pass percentage is above 75 percent. The quality of education is good and everyone get enough knowledge from the teachers.

Building a strong foundation for my career.

Placements: I'm currently pursuing B.Tech, 3rd year, specialised in AIML, and my college is offering up to 15 LPA. The average is between 6 LPA and 7 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The companies the college provides jobs to are Deloitte, Infosys, TCS, IBM, Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro, and HCL. Based on their requirements, they will select us. Some of the students got direct jobs. Many are selected first, they will train them, and after that they will provide jobs. I don't know about roles.

Infrastructure: Coming to hostel, there is no non-vegetarian food served in VMTW, only egg. The quality, I can say, is just 80 percent and the labs for first year are so strict for us to perform, but in the second year we felt a bit easy to perform. The lab faculty is more supportive, and coming to games and sports is not too good.

Faculty: Exams are a bit difficult and the pass percentage is an average of 75 percent but the faculty is really well-experienced. As in every college, we have to put our efforts to reach our goal, and teachers are also very helpful. They encourage, support, and make us learn. About our course, it is worth studying in VMTW, and this college is known for experienced faculty, and their teaching and support towards students are really good.

Other: I thought that CSM would help to build my career strongly because we can study both CSE subjects and AI and ML languages too, so I thought it would help to build my career.

For taking admission to the courses offered at JNTUK, candidates need to visit the official website of the respective national-level entrance exams conducting bodies and fill out the application form in online mode. Candidates willing to take admission to JNTUKK need to apply for the desired course on the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) and pay the prescribed application/ exam fee. JNTUK Scholarships 2025

The university doesn’t provide any scholarships to the students. However, a portal JNTU World gives the list of scholarships given by the government and how can their students apply for them. The Government of Andhra Pradesh provides financial aid to BC, SC, ST, Minority, EBC, and Kapu students in the form of Reimbursement of Tuition Fees (RTF) and Maintenance costs (MTF). Some of the JNTU Kakinada scholarship programmes mentioned are as follows:

Minority Scholarships

Minority Scholarship mostly known as MOMA Scholarship is one of the most popular scholarship programs around the country.
This scholarship program is provided to the minority community students only. Every year 60000 minority group students benefit from this scholarship.
An amount of 30000 is given to the students directly to their account i.e. direct benefit transfer (DBT).

Telangana E-Pass Scholarship

The government provides post-matriculation scholarships to the students.
For the scholarship student must have a class X pass.
Post-matriculation studies include ITI, Polytechnic, professional, graduate, post-graduate, and PhD courses.
Candidates from backward Castes are eligible such as ST or SC with an Annual Income Less than 2 Lakhs.
Scholarship students have to maintain 75% of marks in each semester.
Students for part-time courses are not eligible for this position.
Scholarships are not provided to the students joining training courses.

JNTUK Infrastructure

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada campus, is spread over 110 acres of land. The institute has a a library, auditorium, seminar/ conference halls, guest houses, hostels, canteen, internet and wifi, computer labs, bank & fire station. The following facilities are provided by the JNTU Kakinada:

Infrastructure: The college houses 40 lecture halls, four drawing halls, laboratories, a computer centre, and a seminar hall with a seating capacity of 150 people. Each department has its own library and seminar hall in its building. A Powerhouse with a 140 KV generator connected to all buildings, including hostels.

Hostels: The college presently has 4 hostel blocks, two for boys and two for girls. Hostels can accommodate about 820 boys and 575 girls. Hostels are provided with the best facilities for the daily needs of students.

Library: The college library consists of nearly 61,414 books, about 126 Journals, and 4000 online journals.

Sports and Recreation: The college has adequate facilities for sports and games. There are facilities for playing cricket, football, table tennis and other games. A running track is also available. There is a multi-gym on the campus.

Other facilities: Other facilities include an auditorium, guest house, bank, staff quarters, canteen, and medical facilities with qualified doctors and dispensing.
