Obviously, D.Pharma in Pharmacy is 100% better than B.Tech in Biotech, as per the present job market in Pharma & Biotech industries. Especially Biotech industries just uses biotech in their industry name, but offers jobs to non-biotech & organic chemistry people. After the completion of D.Pharma, thee are better chance to explore job in Hospitals & Pharma etc.

I would like to suggest you to go for NMAT as well along with CAT.
Narsee Monjee College is good for MBA in Pharmaceutical management.
Only cracking MAT might not leave with best of the colleges.

12th by NIOS is recognized by all and you would be definitely eligible provided you are fulfilling other criterias too if any.

There are many scopes in pharmacy. You can open your own medical shop, become drug inspector and researching field, academics field, manufacturing and production field, marketing and so on.
