The total seat intake for PharmD in Annamalai University is 40. There are 30 seats in the PharmD general course and 10 in the Doctor of Pharmacy Post Baccalaureate. The seat reservation policy for ST/SCA/SC/MBC/BC/OC category candidates is as per the rules and regulations of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Apart from other reservations, 5% of the total number of seats available is reserved for Orthopedically, Physically disabled candidates.

Yes, Annamalai University offers a six-year PharmD course in a full-time mode. Additionally, Annamalai University also offers a three-year Doctor of Pharmacy Post Baccalaureate course in a full-time mode. Candidates who meet the course-specific eligibility criteria can apply by visiting the university website (annamalaiuniversity.ac.in). The university shortlist candidates on the basis of merit in the last qualifying exam. Shortlisted candidates further need to participate in counselling for the seat allotment.

For Pharmacy admissions, the scores secured in the qualifying exam will be considered if two or more candidates have secured the same rank in TS ECET. If the tie is still not resolved, the authorities will allot a higher rank to the candidate who is older.
