Most organizations can offer a pay scale for DPharm fresh graduates from INR 3 Lacs to INR 4 lakh per annum. Initially, new joiner will keep training or probation position, after which their pay scale would be revised. Post that new employees can find a salary in range of INR 5 Lacs - INR 7 Lacs. After gaining experience or higher education qualifications, a person can become a Pharmaceutical Executive or Laboratory Scientist whereby their salary would be in range of INR 7 Lacs - INR 9 lakh. Hence, it is a fruitful career option that has good salary pay scales with additional perks.

After pursuing DPharma candidates can pursue BPharm course by taking admission through lateral entry. However, for this, the candidates have to appear in top entrance examinations such as OJEE, UPSEE etc. There are various career opportunities available as well, depending upon the skills of the candidate.
DPharm graduates can also work in popular pharmaceutical companies that deal with research, development, preparation and trials of various kinds of drugs. IIMT University, Meerut, has a total intake of 60 students for its DPharma programme. The university allocates these seats to eligible applicants based on their performance in Class 12, followed by the assessment test and PI conducted by the university. It must be noted that the mentioned seat information is sourced from the official website of the university/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.

IIMT University grants DPharm admission to candidates who fulfil the preset eligibility criteria. The basic eligibility requirement to take admission to the DPharm course at the university is a minimum aggregate of 45% in Class 12 in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) or Mathematics (PCM) as mandatory subjects. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category need to secure a minimum aggreagte of 45% to be eligible for the course.

The eligibility criteria for BPharma courses at IIMT University is Class 12 in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) or Mathematics (PCM) as mandatory subjects and a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ST category candidates) in the final examination. The official cut off marks for this session have not been announced yet. Apart from this, the university also accepts CUET scores.

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) in Mohali offers excellent M.Pharma placements. With companies like Novartis, Dr. Reddy's, Eli Lilly, Aurobindo, and Cipla visiting each year, the college has an excellent placement record. Ninety percent of students are placed, and the college doesn't take any extra measures to ensure placement.

Candidates seeking admission to the Bombay College of Pharmacy Mumbai BPharma course must appear for MHT CET. The institute does not offer direct admission to the BPharma programme.

Bombay College of Pharmacy BPharma admissions are entirely merit-based. The institute has no management quota and only those candidates who have appeared for MHT CET can apply for admission to the BCP Mumbai BPharma course.

BCP Mumbai BPharma eligibility criteria is Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one subject from Mathematics or Biology with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for backward class category, EWS and, PwD category belonging only to Maharashtra State).
As you have obtained 60% in Class 12, therefore, you can apply for admission to the BPharma programme offered at Bombay College of Pharmacy.
