Community Pharmacist. The community pharmacist is your local pharmacist who provides medicines to the general public

Hi Rakesh, With a range of lucrative Pharmacy career options, B. Pharmacy degree holders can also get employed in the private or government sector as pharmacists, drug inspectors, food inspectors, medical underwriters, or even open a drugstore. The recruiting companies are Apollo Hospitals, Bharat Serums and Vaccines, Cadila, Cryobank International Ipca Laboratories, Ranbaxy. About 70% of the students from the same course got placed. Admissions will be made through candidate's score in Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test GPAT and merit in the qualifying examination. For calculation of merit point, 50% GPAT score and 50% candidate's score in the qualifying degree examination will be considered for admissions. Hope this helps! Best Wishes!

Dear Devanshu, Yes, you can B.Pharma programme based on the respective institutes' eligibility. For instance, being an alumnus of LPU I would be sharing the eligibility criteria of the B.Pharma at LPU. To get admission you should have passed with 60% marks in 12th class (with English Physics Chemistry and Biology or Maths or equivalent. BITS provides better facilities, it has advanced laboratories. But, it is expensive. If fee is not a problem, then BITS should be considered first. Also it has been ranked 3rd in NIRF rankings.
