For the most recent batch of Visva Bharati University's Bachelor of Physical Education, the final admitted student's overall score was around 22.54. The VBU admits students based on their graduation score and their sports score.
VBU prepares a merit list with the graduation percentage reduced to 50 plus sport marks out of 50. Based on the available official list, the general cutoff marks were around 30.08, OBC were 27.85, and SC/ST were 22.54.

Candidate must have passed B.P.Ed. or equivalent with at least 50% of Marks
OR
(b) Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in health and Physical Education with at least 50% marks."
Admission shall be on merit basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of State Government.
