Earning that degree usually takes at least 2 years of full-time postgraduate study. Most applicants to physician assistant education programs already have a Bachelor's degree and some patient care work experience. Although admissions requirements vary from programme to programme, most programs require 2 to 4 years of undergraduate coursework with a focus in Science. Physician Assistant (PA) is important member of the health care team, working interdependently with physicians in virtually all medical specialties and settings. The Advanced PG Diploma Courses in Healthcare are of 2-year duration consisting of 4 semesters with theory and practical training and exams in first and second semesters without any internship. The following is the eligibility criteria:-
Eligibility: For admission, the applicant must possess any degree in B.Sc life Sciences recognized by any of the Indian universities with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate, and who has been a regular candidate. Admission is on merit basis.

Hi Mibza,Since you have not mentioned the college or university name, I can mention the eligibility requirement in general. Graduation in a field preferably related to biomedical sciences and the field of healthcare. For those already working in the medical profession, it is an appropriate course for becoming a physician assistant. And the duration of the course is 2 years. You can check about your eligibility from the college or university once. Hope it helps.

Which university are you looking forward to apply in? Kindly name the university/college so that answer could be share about the eligibility. Else, you can check the list of the colleges offering B.Sc/Diploma in Physician Assistant. Aside, there are multiple online classes for the same course if you do not wish to attend regular college. For Anatomy and Medical Terminology, Physician Assistant Primary Care, Health Care Delivery Systems, Role of the Physician Assistant, Human Physiology, Patient Assessment and Clinical Medicine. But before further details please provide your preference of university/college.
