The are various important topics often asked in the competitve exams an even in board exams related to the Class 12 Physics Ch 9 Ray Optics such as:
Reflection of Light
Refraction of Light
Total Internal Reflection
Lens Maker's Formula
Power of a Lens
Combination of Lenses
Optical Instruments
Huygens' Principle
These topics are important to understand the behavior of light and its applications in optical devices. Understand these concepts will help students answer questions related to theory and numerical problems in board and entrance exams.

Class 12 Physics Ch 9 Ray Optics helps students understand the fundamental concepts on how light interacts with optical systems such as mirrors and lenses. This chapter helps students to build the basis for many real-world applications, such as vision correction, telescopes, microscopy, and fiber optics. Also, there are important concepts like refraction, reflection, and total internal reflection are often asked in board exams and competitive exams like JEE and NEET, so being aware of this Class 12 Physics Chapter 9 Ray Optics is important for scoring well.

In order to increase your revising speed in 12th Physics, you need to first get all your formulas and concepts fit in your mind. For that, you need to revise your full syllabus 2-3 times, giving special focus to important formulas and concepts. Once you do that, you should solve previous year questions and sample papers so that you get an idea about how questions will be asked and the exam pattern. You need to keep in mind that being consistent is very important to achieving anything, and you are also advised to follow a systematic timetable.

The Class 12th Physics pre-board papers are available on many educational sites. The official CBSE website cbse.gov.in has sample papers under the "Examinations" section, which are in the format of the pre-boards.
Then, websites like myCBSEguide and Oswaal Books offer solutions for certain pre-board papers in PDF format, which are more in tune with the latest syllabus. However, schools conduct their internal pre-boards, so you could look for past papers at your school. The local bookstores are selling pre-board question banks published by the likes of Arihant or Together With for Class 12 Physics.

In Physics, Power is the rate at which work is done or energy gets transferred per unit time. It is expressed by the following formulae:
P stands for power, W is for work, t is for time. Power is measured in unit Watt (W) where 1 watt = 1 joule per second. Another unit which is commonly used to measure the power is horsepower (hp), 1hp =746 W.
Power at a specific moment is instantaneous and over a period it is average.

The work-energy theorem in Physics Work, Energy and Power refers to that net work done on an object is equal to its change in kinetic energy. The following is the formula:
Work-energy theorem means that when work is done on an object, the object gains kinetic energy and when an object does the work, it loses kinetic energy. This theorem helps in solving problems related to motion and forces without directly using kinematic equations. It is especially useful in conservative and non-conservative forces cases and it helps in simplifying complex motion analysis.

Energy in Physics means the ability to do work and it can exist in different forms:
- Kinetic Energy (? ) – It is the energy of a moving object. The formulae are KE=1/2mv2
- Potential Energy (PE) - It is stored energy due to position. Formulae are PE=mgh for gravitational potential energy.
- Mechanical Energy - Total of KE and PE.
- Thermal Energy - Energy generated due to heat.
- Chemical Energy - Energy stored in chemical bonds.
- Nuclear Energy - Related to atomic nuclei.
- Electrical Energy - Related to electric charges.
