Entry‑Level Salary (Fresh BPT Graduate)

• Approx. ₹2.5 lakh – ₹4 lakh per annum (₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month) in private clinics and hospitals.

• In some cases in Mumbai/Pune or larger private hospitals, fresh graduates may get slightly higher offers (up to ₹3 – ₹4 LPA).

• A common anecdotal estimate for new physiotherapists is about ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month to start.

With Experience

• After a few years of experience (2–5 years), physiotherapists can see salaries rise to around ₹4 – ₹6 LPA or more.

• Experienced or specialised roles (sports physio, senior therapist) in good hospitals or sports teams can pay even higher (₹6 – ₹10 LPA+).

Other Opportunities

• Government jobs sometimes start around ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month with added benefits (benefits vary by state).

• Many physiotherapists also supplement income with private practice or home visits, which can significantly increase earnings depending on patient load.

For BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)

 You must have passed Class 12 (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) and English as compulsory subjects from a recognised board.
 You should be 17 years old or above by the end of the admission year.
 You must be medically fit.

For MPT (Master of Physiotherapy)

 You must have a BPT degree from a recognised university.
 You should have completed or be likely to complete your internship before the specified date.
 Membership of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) (and state council where applicable) is usually required.

For Ph.D. in Physiotherapy

 A relevant master's degree (usually MPT) is required.
You must qualify the Ph.D. entrance test and interview as specified by the university.

• Direct admission  meaning admission without any entrance exam or merit process — is not officially offered for BPT, MPT, or other programmes at this college. Candidates are selected based on entrance exams accepted by the institute followed by counselling/selection.

• The main accepted exams include AIAHCET for BPT and AIPGPET for MPT (or equivalent exams specified by the Vidyapeeth). You must appear in these exams and secure a qualifying score for admission.

• After the entrance test results, seat allotment and admission are based on performance in these exams and the subsequent selection process.

 NRI/Foreign/PIO Category Exception

• Students in NRI/PIO/Foreign national categories may not be required to appear for the entrance test and can be considered for admission based on inter-se academic merit of their qualifications. This is not the same as an open direct admission — it's a specific provision for certain categories.
