Yes, a BPT course is considered a good job with promising career prospects in the healthcare sector. BPT course offers opportunities to work in hospitals, rehabilitation centres, sports clinics, wellness centres, and even start a private practice.

Physiotherapists play a crucial role in improving patients' mobility, managing pain, and aiding recovery after injuries or surgeries, making it a fulfilling and impactful profession. The demand for physiotherapists is steadily growing due to rising health awareness, an aging population, and the increasing need for rehabilitation services.

BPT course is all about nonsurgical treatments like physical therapy and pain management while MBBS is purely a medical degree that is important for one to become a doctor, diagnose diseases, prescribe medication and perform critical surgeries.

MBBS has a wide scope and is more demanding than the short term BPT course that can become a doorway for jobs in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, etc. If you're interested in general medical practice MBBS can be a good fit as opposed to BPT which is more suited for direct patient interaction and nonsurgical treatments.

BPT and BSc are really different courses in order to be compared. BPT courses are usually sought by people who want to become physiotherapists. The duration of BPT is 4.5 years, along with the internship. BSc, on the other hand, is a general science course of 3 years with specializations like physics, chemistry, biology, math, etc, offering careers in master's, teaching, and research.

Well, it's actually not. Though it will grant a title of “Doctor” (Dr.) in a professional capacity, it's not some traditional medical doctor's degree like MBBS. BPT means a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, who specializes in rehabilitation, physical therapy, and pain management without prescribing medicines or performing surgeries.
Once you complete this course and obtain a license from the respective state council, you can use the prefix “Dr.” before your name.
