To become a Commercial Pilot :
-You need to first possess a Student Pilot License. You must be over 17 years of age and have completed 12th in Science (Physics and Mathematics) with 50%.
-Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.
-You need to register at a flying club which is recognized by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India.

The fee ranges between 10 lacs to 25 lacs depending on where you pursue the training.

Pilot and captain are the same thing only the seniority is different.As in you start of your career as a pilot or a co pilot then you progress to senior pilot and eventually Captain.

You Need minimum 5.5 IELTS score to get student visa for Australia
in 12th you should have physics and maths with minimum 75% marks for good university

Commercial Pilot License is the required qualification to start a career as Pilot in Passenger and Cargo Flights.
Eligibility " HSc with Minimum 50% in PCM is mandatory for admission. It will take one year to complete the course.
The course focused on both theory and practicals. Theory consists of Airline and Aviation basics, Aviation Rules, Navigation System, Structure and trouble shooting of various air catfts etc. There will be minimum 1000 Hours practical Fly training in various air catfts

Hi Rahul,
One has to service atleast till the age of 35 years before taking a volunteer retirement in Indian Air Force (IAF) if joined through NDA. Actually the minimum service period is of 15 years for all categories.

No one, because the flying cost of a cessna 172 aircraft which is a training aircraft is around 11000 per hour. and you have to do 200 hours in different aircraft with night flying also with ground classes. the total cost for full training in India will be around 28 lacs minimum.
