Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering accepts two main entrance exams for B.Tech admission-MHT CET and JEE Main. For students from Maharashtra, MHT CET is compulsory while, for all-India candidates, their JEE Main scores are accepted. Applicants have to meet the eligibility requirements and have to undergo a centralized admission process (CAP) based on the candidates' exam scores. A differing merit list is prepared for JEE Main-qualified applicants. This dual approach ensures that a larger pool of applicants gets the opportunity to be admitted to the college.

Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCOE) follows guidelines for fee refunds as per regulations set by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra and the affiliating university. Typically, refunds are processed based on the time frame in which the student applies for the withdrawal of admission. For instance, if the withdrawal is requested before a specified cut-off date, a certain percentage of the fee, excluding some processing charges, is refunded.
