Yes, any student having an aggregate percentage of 50 is eligible to get an admission of journalism and mass communication, both UG and PG.

Hello Sail,
These days almost all universities have started an entrance test for admission to all PG courses. Hence you will need to appear and pass this to become eligible for admission. But then actual admission depends on your marks in BA.

Bachelor of Arts (BA) is a 3-year undergraduate degree offered in India, the minimum eligibility for admission to which is passing intermediate or 10+2 level from a recognized board or university. The course is generally offered in Liberal Arts Humanities.

You need to fulfill the eligibility criteria as it is necessary without that you can not apply for the admission.
your form will not be considered at all.you should keep looking for other universities with lower eligibility criteria.

Hello Anil,
There are universities & universities. Some will give admission based on graduation in any subject with 45% or 50% marks. Some others require graduation in same subject. If you do not want to waste three years doing B.A. Then I suggest you should seek admission in a open university like IGNOU. You can download brochure cum application form, go through it and start process of M.A.
