Yes, you are required to bring your original documents for verification during the Panjab University LLB counseling process. While you must submit photocopies as part of the registration, the university officials will verify the information against your original certificates at the counseling center. 

Students are required to bring all original certificates related to their qualification and ID, during the counselling. The documents are returned when the verification is done.

Students can register online when they fill out the main application form for PU Admissions, with specific dates announced. Counselling is an important part of the admission process that confirms the student's admission in a college.

No candidates can not appear for the PU LLB Exam Counselling if they did not clear it. It is mandatory to pass the entrance exam to participate in the next process.

If you miss any document during PU-CET (PG) counselling, you will not be allowed to complete your admission. Authorities are specific about document. So it is important to prepare all documents in advance.

Original documents are needed to verify your details during PU-CET (PG) counselling. The university checks marks, identity, and eligibility using original papers. Photocopies alone are not accepted. If originals are missing, your admission process may stop at the counselling stage.

• Aadhar Card, Voter ID card.

PU CET (UG) 2026 Physical counseling will be open mainly to students who did not get a seat in the online rounds or to fill reserved seats still vacant. In practice (as in previous years), the first day (s) may focus on General category candidates without seats, and subsequent days on remaining reserved category candidates. You attend in person at the designated venue (Panjab University, Chandigarh) with your documents and payment. The counselors will re-check your rank and choices, and offer available seats department by department. Once seats are offered, you must confirm and pay immediately. 

If you receive an allotment in Round 1 of PU CET (UG) counselling process, you must report to allotted department on campus during the prescribed dates and bring all the important documents. You will also need to pay the admission and departmental fees immediately. 

Documents required at the time of PU CET (UG) 2026 counseling:
(i) Physical Counseling Form (2 copies) to be downloaded from your login account.
(ii) Admission Form (2 copies) to be downloaded from your login account.
(iii)Admissions Fee (to be paid online only on Payment website through Net-Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI on the spot after getting admission). Candidates are required to create their account  for making online payment. Account on payonline.puchd.ac.in must be in the name of Candidate only.
(iv) Photograph
(v) Original documents and one copy of all documents are required on the spot.
