As per the government rules and regulation,  Pondicherry University follows the seat reservations. the total amount of seats reserved for two categories, SC and ST is 22.5%. Check out the exact number of seats booked for them:

  • For SC category students, 15% of seats are reserved. 
  • 7.5% of seats have been reserved for the Scheduled Tribes (ST) category

The mediocre package got by the 78 students in the placements drive of 2023 was INR 6.5 LPAIn 2022, for the PG integrated courses, the moderate salary package offered was INR 4.3 LPA.

To get admissions at the university, 15% of the total seats are sanctioned for SC students. Not only for SC,

  • Pondicherry University also gives reservations for ST students in terms of 7.5%.
  • Conclusively, it comes to 22.5 % seats being booked for SC/ ST students.

Yes, there are government services in the market after completing a BTech course from Pondicherry University. The companies that released jobs for BTech qualified are: 

  • Indian Railways
  • ONGC
  • BHEL
  • ISRO,   etc.

To take an informed decision about which BA specialisation is the toughest, candidates can learn about the cutoff rank. In the academic year 2022, the cutoff for the course-  Integrated BA + MA in Social and Economic Administration and Law was 256, and for other courses it ranged between 219 and 241.
