An MA in Psychology studies the human mind, behavior, and patterns. The MA in Philosophy, on the other hand, studies the 'why' of existence, values, reason, mind, language, and more.

MA Psychology students work as  Mental Health Researchers, Rehabilitation Forensics, Counselors, Clinical Psychologists, Government Officials, Human Resource Specialists, and Social Workers, etc. And MA Philosophy students work as Professors, Lawyers, Consultants, Government Policy Analysts, Journalists, etc.

These don't work on the idea of external factors' effect on one's mind. That's about it. Differences would be in their approach. Cognitive is how the brain processes information, memory, thinking using objective methods. Humanistic psychology focuses on the subjective, conscious experience, personal growth, and self-actualization
