According to the official PTET exam pattern, the PTET question paper will be in both English and Hindi languages except for the Language Proficiency Section. Candidates preparing for the PTET examination will have to be well versed with either English or Hindi langauge to attempt the question paper.

As per the official notification, the PTET syllabus consists of 4 sections - Mental Ability, Teaching Attitude & Aptitude Test, General Awareness, Language Proficiency (Hindi or English). The detailed subjects and topics are mentioned below -

You can start preparing by familiarising yourself with the PTET format and syllabus. Attempt last year papers and add it in your timetable at least 30 days before the exam.

No there is no negative marking in the PTET. As per the official exam pattern of the PTET exam, each question carries 3 marks and there will no marks deducted from candidates for their wrong responses. This give candidates the freedom to attempt as much questions as they can without worrying about the minus marking.

As per the official exam pattern of PTET, the maximum marks in the exam is 600. There are 200 questions in the exam and each question carries 3 marks each.

The PTET syllabus consists of the subjects, topics and sub-topics on which the PTET exam question paper will be based. As per the official syllabus of PTET there are 4 sections on which the question paper will be based - Mental Ability, Teaching attitude and aptitude Test, General Awareness, and Language Proficiency (English and Hindi). Candidates need to prepare the syllabus well in advance to qualify the exam.

As per the previous year's data, the minimum qualifying marks for the PTET General category (Male) are 360-380, while the same for (Female) is 330-340. The minimum passing marks for OBC (Male) are 345-354, while those for Female candidates are 319-324. The minimum passing marks for SC candidates (Male) is 320-330, while the same for Female candidates is 299-310.

As per the official exam pattern of Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET). The PTET exam is of 3 hours duration and the question paper is Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in nature. The question paper will be based on sections such as Mental Ability, Teaching Attitude and Aptitude Test, General Awareness and Language Proficiency (Hindi or English). The total number of questions will be 200 while the maximum marks will be 600 with 3 marks per question. There is no negative marking in the PTET exam.

Rajasthan PTET 2023 reporting in college after first counselling for BA B.Ed/BSc B.Ed courses was extended by the exam conducting body. Reporting in college after first Rajasthan PTET counselling commenced on July 29. The last date to report in college after first Rajasthan PTET counselling was August 17 instead of August 12. The exam conducting body had extended the reporting in college dates earlier.
