No, there is no negative marking in the Pre-Teachers Entrance Test. There are 200 MCQ-based questions in the PTET exam and each question consists of 3 marks. No marks will be deducted from candidates as wrong response.

The first step in the preparations of the PTET examiation is referring to the official exam pattern and syllabus. Once candidates are well-versed with the sections, subjects and topics, the next step is to download previous year question papers of PTET and start solving them on a regular basis. As and when the test date is near candidates need to increase the question solving frequency and start revisions more often.

There is only paper in the PTET examination. The question paper consists of 200 questions in MCQ-pattern. Each question consists of 3 marks making the total marks to 600. The time duration of the exam is 3 hours and there is no negative marking in the PTET exam.

The PTET exam is the Pre-Teachers Entranct Test which is conducted by the state of Rajasthan. The exam is conducted to shortlist candidates for the 2-years or 4-years B.Ed courses in the participating colleges or universities.

According to the official PTET exam pattern, the PTET question paper will be in both English and Hindi languages except for the Language Proficiency Section. Candidates preparing for the PTET examination will have to be well versed with either English or Hindi langauge to attempt the question paper.

As per the official notification, the PTET syllabus consists of 4 sections - Mental Ability, Teaching Attitude & Aptitude Test, General Awareness, Language Proficiency (Hindi or English). The detailed subjects and topics are mentioned below -

You can start preparing by familiarising yourself with the PTET format and syllabus. Attempt last year papers and add it in your timetable at least 30 days before the exam.

No there is no negative marking in the PTET. As per the official exam pattern of the PTET exam, each question carries 3 marks and there will no marks deducted from candidates for their wrong responses. This give candidates the freedom to attempt as much questions as they can without worrying about the minus marking.
