Chandigarh Group of Colleges is a good college to pursue engineering. It has a good placement record as well as average overall rankings. You can proceed with the admission in the college. However, there are even better options available which you should go for. If you are eligible for CGC then you can also apply for some other better colleges if you want and may also avail scholarships. Giving you a few suggestions -

It would be a tough call to get NIT with this much score in JEE mains but you can wait for the counseling. However, I would suggest you to apply for some other colleges so that you are not in trouble at a later stage. You can check out LPU in Jalandhar offering best scholarship based on 12 marks. dont worry ,There are many colleges in Northern India that are doing exceptionally well and are included among the top universities of this country.choose the institute carefully,go for the one that have good name and provide a platform for enhancing your skills.here are some of the colleges where you can apply for admissions:
