I'm dissatisfied with facilities, but our college has good placements in the last 2 years.

Placements: Almost 80% of the students from the computer science and engineering branch got placed in many companies in placements of this year, i.e., 2019. The highest salary package is offered by Samsung to a student of ECE and the lowest salary packages offered is 1.5 to 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Accenture, Infosys, TCS and CTC. A lot of students got internships from this college in many organisations like Sabudh Foundation, DRDO and CSIER.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana are very good. There are many sports grounds like cricket, football, etc., and the entire campus is lush green. Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the campus, and many labs are in good condition but don't expect teachers will teach you as you want in the labs. The library is also small compared to various IITs, NITs, IIITs and top private colleges of India. The library opens from 9 am to 8 am from Monday to Friday ...

At last, I would like to say that it is best college to explore more.

Placements: As a computer science student, our college except more so candidate marks should be above 80 per cent for eligibility of computer Science seat. Our college provides the highest packages above 3 LPM and a minimum of 50TPM. The thing is no anyone unemployed after studying from our college. They gain nothing but experience. Infosys, Accenture, federal bank, TCS, etc., are recurring companies. It is very difficult to tell the exact percentage of candidates eligible for an internship because it depen...

Awesome environment and a very good college.

Placements: Placements are usually good and most of the students appearing for the placements get placed. Companies like TCS, Infosys and many other visits our college with a maximum salary of 14 Lacs to 1.8 Lacs per annum. Only about 4 to 5% of students get the internship with an average stipend of 10,000 per month.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is old but still, the campus of GNDEC is huge. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled with an average speed of 4 Mbps of speed. Classrooms have no AC though but labs do have. We ...

I suggest you avoid this college for a better future.

Placements: Placements in our college are average because few companies visit our college for placements. I think you should go to another college for better placement offers. The highest salary package offered is very low, and that is 10 LPA. Top companies like Google and Microsoft do not visit our college for placements.

Infrastructure: Our college provides bad facilities. Our college does not provide air-conditioned and Wi-Fi facilities. Our college charges a high fee. It does not have good labs, and desk conditions are ...

It is a poor college. It provides the worst study.

Placements: Less percentage of students get placed because of poor attention from top companies like Microsoft, Google, etc. The highest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Internship options are low, but a good amount of students can get an internship, which is an advantage.

Infrastructure: Our college does not provide an air-conditioned facility. It provides poor Wi-Fi, bad benches, and poor infrastructure, so I suggest you choose another college for good campus life. The quality of hostel and canteen are bad. It provides ...

According to my opinion as an educator, ones interest decides which path to choose. All the mentioned courses are offered at LPU and are designed to give students the knowledge, hands on skills, analytical and leadership abilities they need for fast track global careers in blue chip companies.

I would like to share a brief about B. Tech CSE offered at LPU. The B Tech CSE programme is one programme that LPU is known for. Well-tailored course content to meet the global industrial needs, good faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities have left many NITs far behind. The B Tech CSE programme primarily deals with the development as well as designing of computer software and hardware processes with a strong focus on courses related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software, databases, operating systems, computer networking, etc. That is needed to build and solve problems using computers.
The curriculum taught here is of international standard. One gets to learn from foreign and industry experts. There are provisions of international credits in some programs where a student gets an opportunity to go abroad to study.
Highlights
1. The CSE dept. Of LPU has various tie-ups with Google, Pega, VMWARE, AUTOMATION ANYWHERE, INFORMATICA, COMPUTING TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (CompTIA). The university has state-of-the-art labs with the latest software to provide hands-on practical exposure to students.
2. IITs and NITs are also appreciating campus-wide facilities in terms of IT.
3. Online access to research journals, leading company annual reports and business dissertations with design analysis for ERP.
4. Design and Development of software and databases for data analysis.
5. Option to opt for industry-relevant and industry-delivered skills to enhance placement prospects.
6. Student-driven activities for leadership and technological development
7. Software exhibitions on applications and research projects.
8. Backup and support by top companies for academics and curriculum like Microsoft, IBM, Cognizant, etc. LPU always designed the innovative pedagogy of the courses based on Industry standards only. Based on the same students are getting Industry ready from Day 1. The maximum salary offered was 40 LPA and the average salary was 5.7lpa. Recently, an LPU student Tanya Arora got placed in Microsoft with 42 LPA this year.

LPU has a collaboration with Google to provide specialisation Android courses to the B.Tech/IT/CSE/Engineering students. LPU provides free training on SAP Business Suite to the students leading them to the SAP Consultant Certification. LPU has a tie-up with VMware IT ACADEMY for giving students and faculty exposure to products like vSAN, sphere, NSX, Workspace, Airwatch and cloud, including certifications. LPU was ranked SECOND by Hacker Earth leaving behind most IITs among more than 5000 universities, from all around the world. LPU students designed and created India's 1st Solar-Powered driverless bus which was featured in various national media and which made a maiden run in the Indian Science Congress 2019 held by LPU, which was inaugurated by The Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi. And many more, with great placement opportunities, there is a very good holistic environment for one to study and get ready for the corporate world while sharpening your skills and knowledge. The placements at LPU are almost unexpectable. Someone gets a really good package while some get very less, it depends upon your portfolio and the interview. Mostly, the interviews matter a lot. If you did well over there you will definitely get a good job. Recently in the Amazon placement drive, 15-16 students got a package in the range of 11-16 Lacs and it's a good package, Tanya Arora she got 42 LPA from Microsoft. But at the same point, there are some companies who took the students at the package of 3.5-34.5 Lacs. There will be many placement drives conducted by Tech Mahindra, Samsung, Koni Labs, Hitachi, Honda and many more. It depends on how you perform. Innovative and productive environment, more emphasize on practical sessions with the benefit of having ragging free campus
LPU is having experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries, faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as we are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. At present there are around 70 faculty members from IIT, Iims, IIITs etc. Hope this will help you!
