The fees of RV College of Engineering vary by admission quota and branch. Qualification for M.Tech in RV College of Engineering is pass in BE/BTech or equivalent degree with minimum aggregate of 50%. It is 45% for SC/ST candidates. Duration of M.Tech programme is 2 years. Selection for M.Tech admission can be based on PGCET also known as Post Graduate Common Entrance Test,  GATE commonly known as Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or college level entrance exam.

For full time MCA program, RV College of Engineering offers a total of 120 seats. The students get admission to this program through entrance test Karnataka PGCET. Also, there is management quota seats available.
