Yes, there are many scholarship programmes provided by RIJ.
- The students who scored a cutoff of 190 and less are provided with full scholarship including the exam fees , accomodation and food.
- While the students who scored cutoff of 185+ are provided with the half payment in both tution fee and hostel fee.

To be eligible for admission to the BTech course at Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology, the candidate must have passed class 12th in a relevant field from any recognized university. Eligible candidates will have to appear for the Jee Mains exam and score a valid rank to secure admission.

Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology offers UG level Engineering courses in a full-time mode under the affiliation of Anna University. These are B.E. and BTech courses. The duration of these courses is four years. Besides, the institute also offers lateral entry in the BE/ BTech programmes. Admission to lateral entry and courses via Government Quota are offered based on merit of the candidates. The institute considers JEE Main scores for Merit Management admissions.

RIT Chennai offers direct admission to the second year of BTech/ B.E. programmes through Lateral Entry. In this course, students can skip the first year and take admission directly in the second year of the programme. For admission to Lateral Entry programmes, candidates must have a valid Diploma in the relevant branch.

No, there is no entrance exam required for admission to RIT Chennai. For admission to UG course in Engineering at RIT Chennai, candidates need to fulfil the basic eligibility requirements of the programme at the time of applying for admission. Moreover, the eligible candidates need to apply for TNEA counselling for the seat allotment. However, the institute do considers JEE score for Merit Management admissions.
