Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology provides various Undergraduate & Post Graduate Programs. It gives 8 B.Tech programmes, out of which majority are Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering have 60-120 intakes per branch. The institute also has 7 M.Tech programs like Computer Science and Engineering, VLSI Design, Power Electronics and drives with intake 18-25 student per branch. Further, it provides MBA and MCA stream with intake capacity of 60 and 120 respective student cohort. The institute offer student intake of about 1500 students for a particular year.

About 90 companies take part in the campus drive for the Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology for the batch of 2024 placements. Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology is one of the BUS engineering colleges in Chennai which offers different B.Tech courses. Employability is also improved by academic standards, practical exposure and contacts with industries which makes a good combination for academical learning. The TNEA cutoff to get B.Tech admission in Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology ranges between 160 to 180 out of 200 for Computer Science and other leading branch. Other branches like Mechanical or Civil Engineering may have some cutoffs range from 140 – 150.
