Rama University Kanpur conducts its own in-house entrance test for admissions into the majority of its courses. Students can qualify in their required Higher Secondary examinations, and obtain the prescribed minimum scoring as mentioned by the university. Post this, the students would be required to register for the Rama University Entrance Test (RUET).

MBA is one of the best course offered by Rama University Kanpur which is a top privatw university in Uttar Pradesh. To be eligible for MBA in the university students must have an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate. The university accepts exam from CBSE 12th, ISC, UP 12th and RUET. For reserved category students must have minimum 45% marks. Students who are interested in this course can appear in any national and state level exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, NMAT, CMAT, SNAP.
It offers two-year MBA course with four specializations:-

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at Rama University Kanpur are as follows:
- For general candidates, they must have passed Class XII (CBSE/ISC/State-Boards of 2022/2023) with a minimum of 50% marks in PCBE subjects
- For lateral entry candidates, they must have passed B.Sc. PCM or Diploma in relevant subjects with a minimum of 50% marks

For student, The minimum eligibility criteria to join Rama University in Kanpur is a 10+2 from a recognised board. The addmission would be on the basis of scores attained or marks secured in the entrance examination. The entrance examination is mandatory and is different with respect to different courses. Like for general courses you have to give CUET conducted by NTA. For B.Tech & engineering courses you have to give JEE. For MBBS, you have to give NEET.

Rama University BTech admissions are entirely entrance-based. To apply for this four-year BTech course at Rama University, candidates must fulfil the basic eligibility criteria in the first place as per the university's norms. For admission to this Engineering UG course, candidates must pass Class 12 with 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects from a recognised board.
