Candidates should choose these books which cover the maximum syllabus and also include practice questions. Some of the books recommended for the preparation of the RIE CEE are mentioned below -

  • Mental Ability: "A Modern Approach to Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning" by R.S. Aggarwal.
  • Teaching Aptitude: "Teaching Aptitude & Attitude Test" by Arihant Publications.

The RIE CEE results will be declared a few days after the exam is over. To check the RIE CEE result, candidates will have to visit the official website and log in using their registration number and password. The result will display candidate's overall score, rank, and qualifying status, students will have to download and print their result for future reference. Candidates who meet the cutoff criteria are eligible for counseling.

  • While preparing for the RIE CEE exam, candidates must understand the syllabus and exam pattern.
  • Basis on that, they must create a study timetable covering all the subjects from difficult to easy basis.
  • Refer to NCERT books and recommended study materials.
  • Solve past year question papers and mock tests.
  • Focus on Teaching Aptitude and Mental Ability sections.
  • Read newspapers and current affairs for General Awareness.
  • Practice time management to attempt all questions within the given time.

To download the RIE CEE admit card candidates will have to visit the official website of NCERT. On the official website, they will have to click on the link titled "RIE CEE admit card" and log in with their credentials. Once the admit card is available candidates need to check all the details mentioned on it such as their name, roll number, exam date, and exam center. If they find any discrepancies they will have to immediately contact the exam authorities for correction.

Candidates must carry the following documents to the exam centre along with the RIE CEE admit card:

- Printed copy of the Admit Card

- Valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, Driving License, Passport, PAN card, Voter ID)

- Passport-size photograph (same as the one uploaded in the application)

Without these, entry to the exam hall will not be allowed. It is also advisable to carry a copy of the application form printout and arrive at the centre well before reporting time. Ensure the photo and signature on the ID match those on the admit card.

Yes, as per the exam pattern of the RIE CEE there is a negative marking in the exam. For each wrong question attempted by candidate, 0.5 marks will b deducted. Therefore students must be double assure before attempting the question and blind guess will not help there. They must be confident while selecting the right option and use elimination techniques for uncertain ones. The best way to ensure they make the correct guesses is by practicing previous years' papers in abundace during the revision process.  This will also help them manage their time well and maintain accuracy.

The exam conducting body NCERT prescribes the exam pattern syllabus of RIE CEE 2025. As per the exam pattern, the test will be conducted in offline mode OMR sheets. The total marks will be 160, and the time duration of the exam will be2 hours. There will be 80 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into three sections: 

  • Teaching Aptitude (30 questions)
  • Reasoning Ability (30 questions)
  • Language Proficiency (20 questions)

For each correct answer attempted by candidate they will be awarded 2 marks, while 0.5 marks will be deducted as negative marking for every wrong answer.
