RRB ALP result is announced on the official website of 21 RRBs. Candidates need to visit the respective RRBs to check their results. The list of qualified candidates is made available in PDF form. The scorecard is released along with the result. Candidates can download their scorecards by logging with the required credentials. The hard copy of the scorecard is not sent to candidates by post.

In first two CBTs questions will come in MCQ format. The third stage is CBAT, where candidates will be given five test batteries. The CBT carries 75 objective-type multiple-choice questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence, and Reasoning, General Science and General awareness on current affairs. The test carries a total of 75 marks. The duration of the test is 60 minutes. The standard of questions in first stage CBT is framed as per the educational qualification prescribed for the posts. The RRB ALP application fee depends on the category you belong to:

  • General Candidates (Open Category & Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer): Rs. 500
  • SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)/Female/Transgender/Minorities/Economically Backward Class (EBC) Candidates: Rs. 250

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released a short notification for RRB ALP 2024 recruitment. The detailed notification was released on January 20, 2024. A total of 5696 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment process. The exam is conducted for candidates in the age group of 18 to 30 years and who have completed Class 10/SSLC. The recruitment is done for the post of Assistant Loco Pilots and Technicians. This year, the age limit for ALP post has been revised. Earlier, the age limit for ALP was 18 to 28 years. The revised age limit is 18 to 30 years.

The candidates need to ensure that all the details mentioned in the RRB ALP admit card are correct. In case of discrepancies in the RRB ALP admit card related to name, date of birth, father’s and mother’s name, photograph, and signature, candidates should immediately contact the respective RRBs for rectification. RRB ALP admit card is released four days before the exam. To download RRB ALP admit card, candidates need to enter user ID and password. Candidates need to carry their admit cards along with one photo-identity proof to the exam centre.
