The final merit list of RRB ALP is prepared based on the following parameters:

  • Applicants should note that first stage CBT is qualifying in nature

  • The merit list of CBT 2 stage is determined on the basis of total marks secured by aspirants in CBT 1 results

  • Candidares are called for document verification process on the basis of their performance in Second Stage CBT

  • Candidates should note that the merit list of ALP results will be drawn by counting 70 epr cent marks of Part A of second stage CBT while 30 per cent to CBAT.

The scores of applicants are calculated on the basis of raw scores, prorated scores and normalised marks. Normalisation of marks are done to adjust the difficulty level of the question papers across various sessions.

RRB ALP scorecard is released along with the result. The scorecard can be downloaded by logging with the given credentials. The scorecard displays the following details:

  • Roll Number of Selected Candidates

  • Name

  • Exam Authority

  • Qualifying status

  • Pro Rated Scores

  • Total scores

RRB ALP result is announced on the official website of 21 RRBs. Candidates need to visit the respective RRBs to check their results. The list of qualified candidates is made available in PDF form. The scorecard is released along with the result. Candidates can download their scorecards by logging with the required credentials. The hard copy of the scorecard is not sent to candidates by post.

In first two CBTs questions will come in MCQ format. The third stage is CBAT, where candidates will be given five test batteries. The CBT carries 75 objective-type multiple-choice questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence, and Reasoning, General Science and General awareness on current affairs.   • General Candidates (Open Category & Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer): Rs. 500
  • SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)/Female/Transgender/Minorities/Economically Backward Class (EBC) Candidates: Rs. 250

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released a short notification for RRB ALP 2024 recruitment. The detailed notification was released on January 20, 2024. A total of 5696 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment process. The exam is conducted for candidates in the age group of 18 to 30 years and who have completed Class 10/SSLC. The recruitment is done for the post of Assistant Loco Pilots and Technicians. This year, the age limit for ALP post has been revised. Earlier, the age limit for ALP was 18 to 28 years. The revised age limit is 18 to 30 years.
