The placements are decent given in this college. It has a placement rate of around 90% which basically means that there are high chances that you might get placed. The packages are not too good though. The highest HR package recorded was around 6.5 LPA and the lowest was around 3 LPA so if nothing else you can at least get a job of around 25000 after passing out from here and meet your basic needs.

The highest package goes up to 12LPA for B.Tech students which is pretty decent and the average package can be around 5LPA. Many companies come to the college for placement which includes companies like HDFC, TCS etc. and as claimed by the college, it has a placement rate of 95% so even if you are not too good at studies and doesn't hold the top rank in your batch the chances of you getting placed are still pretty high.

The college is fairly good and the best part about this college is the faculty it offers. Even if you are not that much knowledgable about the field, the faculty helps you a lot. Placements are decent but do not expect much. Infrastructure is also good and overall you can have a nice social life and get the best 4 years of your life. Located on the Ranchi-Purulia highway and approximately 10kms away from Ranchi it is fairly connected to the city too.

The entrance cut-off is determined by the Sarala Birla University (SBU), which is situated in Ranchi, using a number of parameters. Meeting the minimal cut-off does not ensure admission, even though it changes every year. When making admissions decisions, the institution takes into account the academic records, extracurricular activities, performance in personal interviews, and results from other entrance exams (JEE Mains, GATE, NET, GMAT, JRF, CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, and others). The infrastructure of SBU consists of clean buildings, sports facilities, libraries, and dorms. You can visit the official website for precise cut-off informat

Applicants must have have at least 40% (35% for students from reserved categories) in their qualifying examination (10+2) or its equivalent. Because of this, it appears that you meet the minimal eligibility requirements with a 60% in Class 12th. You would still have to show up for the SBU Entrance Exam, though. I advise getting in touch with the university's admission office directly for more precise information.
