Broadly speaking, to begin a career as a data scientist, you need an advanced degree in a scientific discipline like Statistics, Mathematics or one of the Sciences and a strong technical background. SAS courses require no formal education to be a professional in analytics. Any graduate can undergo this course. There isn't any age limit for taking this course or being an analytics professional either. However, a minimum of 1 year of experience in analytics is a must if you're undergoing this course with an aim to get a job
