SITE's actually a vibe — decent faculty, updated syllabus, modern labs, and real project work. None of that outdated “read and rote” nonsense. You get solid exposure, and placements are legit with biggies like Infosys, IBM, and TCS. Someone even bagged ?25 LPA! If you're serious about learning (and getting hired), SITE's worth it.

They don't shout it from the rooftops, but hostel fees are kinda in the usual ?30k–?50k per year zone — depends on what room you pick. Hostels are separate for boys and girls, have Wi-Fi, mess, decent security, and basic comfort. Just ring up admin for the exact rate if you're planning to stay in.
