Although the difficulty level of the practice tests is almost the same as the real SAT test, however, it depends on how seriously you are attempting it. If you take it in the real settings with the same serious level as the real test then you will get almost accurate results.

SAT practice tests are not harder than the real test as the environment and the anxiety at that time is completely different while one is performing the real test. Although the practice tests are designed as per the level of difficulty of the real test.

The changes in SAT pattern come officially from College Board, which administers the exam officially across the globe at its partner centres. SAT exam pattern changes are usually not very frequent, hence if there is any change that comes up, there will be an official notification for the same. For now the proposed SAT pattern is final and there is no intimation for any changes.

The level of ease of the new SAT pattern solely depends on the applicant's preparation for the exam. The new SAT exam pattern has its pros like its shorter in duration, its now digital, the time for answering questions on SAT is 68% higher than on ACT, the reading and writing section is now one section and calculators can be used for all math questions on SAT. The ease is definitely for giving the exam but the syllabus and prep tips remain constant.

This is a very generalised question and there is no answer to such questions. SAT is designed in such a manner that international students are able to attempt this exam for abroad university admission to undergrad courses. The SAT syllabus is common and applies to all international students. Thus, there is no yes or no answer to the question if it is hard to prepare for SAT as an Indian student.

Yes, it is very much possible to crack SAT exam in one go, with a god score and without coaching. All the student needs to do is, begin his/her preparation timely, check SAT syllabus and have it handy at all times, dedicate a certain number of hours of study each day, begin preparing section-wise or based on weak areas and most importantly practice as much as possible.

Yes, College Board releases the SAT exam dates, SAT exam registration dates along with when the SAT exam results will be declared. Hence, there are rarely any changes in the proposed dates or timelines as released by College Board for SAT aspirants. Thus, applicants should keep themselves updated with the exam dates and exam result dates as well.
