Savitri Bai Phule Mahavidyalaya

Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) (formerly University of Pune ) was founded on February 10, 1949. This is a public state university in Pune in Maharashtra that occupies a 411-acre spread campus. It is well known because it spreads academic glory as it has more than 400 undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate programs in different fields such as Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, and Management. SPPU has a good NIRF rank (e.g. 23 rd in the category of University in 2024), NAAC and is NAAC-A+ accredited, rich history and is also known as the Oxford of the East. It has a wide range of affiliated colleges and research organizations and appeals to a much varied student community including foreign students.
