That is a very general confusion faced by everyone. You have to first understand the difference between pgdm & mba. Mba is a degree and pgdm is a diploma. Degrees can only be awarded by a university but pgdm can be awarded by any institute recognized by aicte. Mba is more of theoretical type, while pgdm is more of practical type. Pgdm will be better if u prefer practical knowledge and industry exposure above theoretical knowledge. But if you want go for higher studies like phd u should go for mba, as for phd a masters degree is required and pgdm is not a degree. But if the pgdm program is recognized by aicte as well as the association of Indian universities as equivalent to mba, then it will be treated as a degree. So do check the details of the program and then decide. All the best.

Their is no fair comparison among these electives. Most of the people choose elective or majors based on their interests or grades in respectable courses.
But i guess here you are not planning to decide based on your interests. So decide base on grades, skills or talents. Or you can decide base on goals, so first you need to identify that what exactly you want in the end. Creating your goals will help you in decision. Also dont forget the skills required to complete this majors. So what skill you have? Are you creative? Good salesman? go for marketing. If you are good in understanding humans nature and can read and manage humans go for HR.

Placements are also great.Christ University is a happening campus. There will be lot of fest going on from different deaneries. It is a very good platform to learn. It includes extra co-curriculum activities, sports, dance, music, management fests etc. Teachers are very supportive. Standard of education is very good. Overall Christ University is a fun learning university.

I haven't heard about amrita university. In Bangalore after IIMB, Christ University is the best Like the College is very good. Standard and the quality of teaching is high.
