The last date for submission of the SRMJEEE 2024 application form was June 15, 2024. The SRMJEEE is the entrance exam for admission into a BTech and MTech course at SRM University Chennai.
The university offers over 80 UG, PG, doctoral, and diploma courses. Admission for most of the courses is on an entrance basis, and university admission considers national-level entrance examinations such as CAT, MAT, XAT, TANCET, and NATA.

The following eligibility criteria are to be met by candidates seeking admission into SRM School of Science and Humanities, Chennai for the MCA program:
- There is a B.C.A., B.Sc. in Computer Science, B.Sc. in Information Technology, B.Sc. in Computer Technology, or a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering to their credit.
- Have degrees to meet the requirements from recognized councils like UGC, SRMIST, or AIU.
- Provided an aggregate score of 60% or above at the UG level.
- Must have passed Maths at 10+2 or graduation level.
Actual admissions shall be according to the guidelines of UGC, AICTE, or competent authorities.

To take MCA in Generative AI at SRM School of Science and Humanities in Chennai, the following eligibility requirements will be required:
- Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer technology, or computer science engineering from a recognized university.
- Possess a B.Sc., B.Com., or B.A. degree with mathematics at the 10+2 level or the graduation level from a recognized university
